The Club, through its members, currently owns and operates Commander 114, Piper Archer II, and Flight Design CTLS aircraft. All are color GPS and ADS-B equipped, hangar-based, and reliable, being maintained to specifications equaling or exceeding FAA and manufacturer requirements.


N920SS is the latest addition to the Eximious fleet; a 2010 Flight Design CTLS light sport aircraft, based at Coleman A. Young Municipal (KDET) in Detroit, Michigan, and Ray Community (57D) in Ray, Michigan.

As with all Eximious aircraft, "Two Sierra Sierra" is well-equipped, with a powerful yet economical Rotax engine, Dynon dual glass panel, big-screen Garmin 696 GPS, autopilot, ADS-B in and out, and refurbished interior. Unlike many light sport aircraft, our CTLS is fully equipped for both daytime and night flight.

N2299B is a 1977 Commander 114, based at Oakland-Troy Airport (KVLL) in Troy, Michigan. "99 Bravo" is a high-performance, retractable-gear aircraft, capable of cruising at 155 knots. This is the only flying-club-owned C114 in North America.

As with all Eximious aircraft, 99 Bravo is well-equipped; fully IFR-capable, with a 260-HP engine; Garmin radios, transponder and color moving-map GPS; a two-axis autopilot; ADS-B in and out; LED landing light, and even a recently refurbished leather interior.

N8167F is a 1984 Archer II, based at Coleman A. Young Municipal (KDET) in Detroit, Michigan, and Ray Community (57D) in Ray, Michigan.

As with all Eximious aircraft, "67 Fox" is well-equipped; fully IFR-capable, with a 180-HP engine; Garmin radio, transponder, audio panel and color moving-map GPS; autopilot; ADS-B out; digital engine analyzer; and LED landing light.
